I am pregnant, married, and have 2 children. My husband just got laid off of work and I really need some groceries. I am already on food stamps, but we don’t get much for our family. I just need to find a way to locate local places in Arkansas to get free groceries or commodities to help us out.

Should I swallow my losses or try to stick it to someone else? It was quite a blow.

I have bought some commodities from Indian grocery shop in Bay area. It is really a bad experience seeing all the lies they put on Nutrition Facts label. They just put anything on any item, I usually buy after looking at the Nutrition facts, after coming home and some research I found what that put on package is just plain false.

I really want them to be punished for playing with consumers health by providing wrong information and there by breaking the law.
Just to clarify, I am in Sunnyvale, California USA.

I am interested to start up my own firm which will be engaged in export of various commodities to different country. The basic function is trading ( merchant export ). I am not a manufacturer, I would like to buy the commodity from the local market and the same would be exported to various overseas buyers. I would like to know how to start from the scratch which starts from finding a suitable overseas buyer and what are the sources to finding the same? Also I need to know what formalities should I fulfill ( as per Indian government rules and regulations ) to execute the export orders. Remember, I am simply an employee in a private firm and interested to start this business soon.

By offering bailouts to Investment Houses, Mortgage Companies and corporations in trouble, so that they do not have to convert convertible bonds for at least 6 months? Meanwhile, these corporations can invest their borrowed money in the stock market and deriviatives, bouncing stocks, to achieve higher profits at the expense of inflation from the bidding up of commodities?

Nature Foods asked:

We have started a company that donates a portion of profits (at least 50%) from sales of commodities (our first is bottle water). The projects are chosen by the community through an online process. We are searching for a name any suggestions?

One idea that came up based on our support of AIDS related projects was the Red Ribbon Project.

skahhh asked:

Can’t they or their advisors realize that the prices of commodities are rising way faster than the earnings power of the average wage earner and that eventually more and more people will fall into the automation trap of being either unemployed or without jobs that would pay enough to support a family?

Can’t they see that we humans are working and technologizing ourselves out of jobs?
