When gas prices rose to $145, a small portion of the U.S. consumer could no longer pay their mortgages. The mortgage companies collapsed, then financial trading companies that bought commodities and caused the price of oil to go to $145 failed(remember goldman calling for $200 oil?), now where bailing out the financial holding companies that caused the collapse, increasing the debt of the country (still in affordable ranges), and now the dollar is falling and people are buying oil again.

1. Commodities should not be rising to $130 levels when the entire global economy is collapsing from the 1st punch.

Take these moronic investment funds and slam them to the ground why we still have a chance. The government should go in and put these stupid btrds on a steak. They have no idea how to invest and are going to completely ***** our economy and themselves once again.

Anyone else agree?

Texte to correct and revise:

97% of the world’s water is salt water, 3 1/2% are trapped in ice caps and deep rocks and less than 1% is fresh water. We want to ruin this resource, this right, by making oil. Wasting 4 barrels of water to make only 1 barrel of oil. Water is globally taken for granted, but the problem is that water is simply not unlimited. We need it to survive, and it is therefore, a right. A right that everyone should be able to exploit. However, it isn’t that easy, since water is constantly thrown away. Also, adding up to this issue, oil companies in the Alberta Athabasca regions foresees to use this natural need to produce large amounts of oil. This procedure creates toxic tap water for nearby citizens. Consequently, what is supposed to be the greatest resource results into a major danger.

The worst part of this project is that it is actually an environmental problem that we can avoid. I state, from many environmentalists, that the toxic waste in tailing ponds created through this process takes 150 years to separate naturally from the contaminated water. As well, Dr. John O’Connor mentioned that he’d seen deformed children, tumours and new forms of cancers coming from these areas. These are undeniable inconveniences that are not too reassuring, they need to be revised and taken care of seriously.

The oil companies owners, to help there cause, declared yesterday, in the CTV news report, that to support the environment they would replant trees. It is surely a good idea, but it won’t repair our loss and will neither bring back to life all of these animals and mainly ducks that died through this process. Several of their toxins are killing ducks and that is definitely not helping. It starts off by killing ducks and who will be next…Us?

To support themselves, they said that by exploiting the tar sands, we wouldn’t be dependent on the eastern countries for oil, but what is it good for if we are all dead from dehydration. Oil can’t save us, but water can. If we don’t react to this, who will? Furthermore, as the years will go by it will get worst and irreparable. Water will become a form of trade for money, a commodity, and chaos for survival will start. World War 3: The Water War; probably the last one.
