Keepers of the gift that stops giving…What makes virginity a big deal?
What makes virginity a big deal?
When younger…Fear, NOT of God, but of public ridicule and rejection kept me a virgin.

I also saw myself as being less “valuable” if i were to trade in this “gift”.

Once gone, that mind set did not disappear, i still saw sex as a commodity in the relationship. I would withhold or give depending on my esteem (my esteem being based on how DESIRABLE i was). Personally, I wish my mother had taught me self worth instead of religious fear.

This one time act is a distant memory, not painful or endearing…it is one.

However, now that I know my worth…i’m even MORE careful to make sure that i enter into a physical act with a person i care about….so that i can really let loose…knowing that it is only ONE aspect of the relationship.

I don’t see the point of waiting for marriage, as i have seen many young people rush into commitment, only to being a slow let down process as sexually immature prisoners.

While I do plan to teach my daughter to wait…i wont stress marriage. . . just physical and emotional maturity. I don’t plan to bribe her with a false sense of worth or an ultimatum with God.

Your thoughts.
tradition = human sacrifice
a virigin could also have heart disease, diabetes, hep a b and c, etc.

How do people make money from stocks?

Kenneth M asked:

How do people generate any reliable income from trading stocks? I have a basic understanding, very basic of the stock market. I use to visit etrade & just watch the dow go up & down. But I have no experience & haven’t read anything about it. I watched this documentary, and seen this guy who was really rich. I read later in an article that he is a “Prosperous Commodities trader” So now here i am trying to figure out how he makes money. Like what is the process? how do these guys recognize opportunity in stocks? And at what point does your opinion count in a company, as a share holder? Please, if anyone can educate me on this. And maybe suggest a book or books, or websites w/good info on this? I have read Rich dad poor dad, and I am now going to be an entrepreneur, I have just quit my job to pursue my entrepreneurship & I am 22 years old in the Los Angeles area. Please, all information, suggestions, advice! Everything! I know I have to be a good listener to be successful, so here I am, I will soak up all the information you provide. I need all I can get, I will read pages & pages of what u have to tell me, you will not waste your time, typing up long answers. Thank you very very much!

How EXACTLY does trade (commerce) work?

themasterwork asked:

I’ve always heard about globalization and the exploitative nature of trade but….of course I do believe that 3rd world countries should not rely on exporting raw materials/agricultural products but of course I feel for the plight of the farmers/laborers…why is it exploitative aside from tariffs?

The question that I really want answered is the exact process…the HOW…let’s take commodities like rice/coffee for example:

1) Who decides the price? [buyers?government(if so which branch?)?etc.]

2) Where does it go first (since an enormous amount is exported)? [wholesalers?…then after?…and after that?
so you mean BARTER is involved?

about currency speculation?

filipino_learning_french asked:

Hi… I need expertise’s advice… I am a college student here in Manila, Philippines. And I start discovering about currency speculation, a year ago. I know that it can deliver you profits but also to have great losses.

I started speculating the US dollar by exchanging my philippine peso savings into it. However, since i fall in love with Canada and the U.K., i shifted to Canadian Dollar “loonie” and British Pound Sterling. Until this financial crisis battered and devaluate my pesos.

I don’t wanna lose my bills, but I’m in doubt because of the declining value of those currencies.

About a year a go… 1 pound is 94 pesos; now it is 71.5; and it reached as low as 64!!!

for the loonie, they are almost the same with value the USD, with little centavos difference (when converted to pesos) and it reached one time that Canadian dollar surges and worth a little with the USD.

Last year it is 1 LOONIE is 44.60 pesos

now it is 40.14 and it bottom upto 36.10 for the past few months.

I KNOW that loonie is a commodity currency, and it depends on the price of gold, silver, copper and of course OIL!

how about the british pounds? aside from the foreign trade of Britain of pounds, where? in the financial sector of the banks?

If i were you, what we’ll you do? Last year, i do not mind the little changes because of the very little fluctuation. Only now that i realized that even 0.0001 fluctuation in the currency rate affects much on the value. Especially when it deals with larger quantity of foreign currency..

for now, i have Canadian: $200
and 100 pounds.

do i need to stop this, shift to other currency? or what?

i am in a long term speculation, since this is my savings.

please enlighten me…
as of now, i have

$200; (Canadian dollar)

£100; (U.K. Pound)

Whats with the myth that easy women are cheap?

Twilight asked:

Following on from another question here about men who think badly of women who are “easy to get into bed”

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjgB9f.WK9UpMEXz4T8kNZoYxgt.;_ylv=3?qid=20081204101626AAQrFke

There does seem to be a certain attitude that a woman who does so lacks class, or plenty worse things.

I don’t know if this is a cultural issue, but it certainly contradicts my own experience.

In Europe, and in the uk specifically, most every woman I know who doesn’t make a fuss delaying sex has been non religious, middle class and university educated.

The women I’ve encountered who do make a fuss tend to be traditional working class women with very little economic security who need to trade on their sexuality to marry up.

So in fact my experienced reality is the opposite of the popular myth. Women who are educated and have a good income, or the expectation of one can choose a partner at will, and choose to have sex as early as they like. Because their security doesn’t depend on it.

Women who delay and delay tend to be doing so either because they are religious, or because their value in the eyes of the men they want to attract relies on their “purity”. It’s a commodity to these women.

Whats with the myth that easy women are cheap?

Commodity Trading Courses

Many traders believe that, for those who wish to acquire or enhance their knowledge of day commodity trading skills, the best educational option is to attend a day trading course at an on-location site run by a reputable day trading firm. However, for many aspiring day traders, this option may not be feasible for a number of reasons. Another option is to take a day trading course in a “virtual classroom,” by signing up at one of several online sites that offer such courses. Before signing up for an online course, make sure that it covers the most important day trading topic areas. At a minimum, a course should cover the following subject areas:

Trading terminologies that find and identify suitable stocks for day trading. Other topics should cover how to use trading software, the types of orders for trade execution, common trading mistakes and how to avoid them, Information should also show you how to interpret Nasdaq Level II screens, risk management strategies, technical chart analysis, the role of market makers and direct access trading, etc.

The following provides brief descriptions of four popular sites that offer online day trading courses or seminars: Daytrading University offers an online course aimed at those wishing to develop skills in day trading of Nasdaq stocks. The course content is organized into eight modules, each having over 15 separate lessons. The lessons include chart screen shots, other illustrations and offer a number of day trading tips and techniques.

Pristine.com offers a series of online seminars on various day trading techniques and strategies presented by way of streaming video and dynamic slide presentations. Online attendees have the ability to see and hear instructors teach each lesson.
