A question from the real shaz: Commodities trading is off, has the average consumer noticed a decline in the price of vegetables, milk & meat?

No, I wasn’t kidding. I went to the market yesterday and found atleast one brand of milk that was $ 3 a gallon vs. $ 6, New York steaks for $ 3.47/lb vs. $ 8+, strawberries $ 1/lb vs. $ 3/lb, bananas $ .50/lb. and stock was much fresher than it was 2 weeks ago.
I live in Southern California.

No, I was actually noticing just the opposite in the price of these food items.

-have noticed a big decline in the price of gas, though.

That is really weird. Maybe the store is getting ready to go out of business, or maybe somebody was playing a hoax and mismarked the prices.
